Marco Antonio Roman Jara (b. 1970) was raised in a large, extended family in Mexico City, Mexico. After growing up and moving to Cancun, Mexico, Jara fell in love and decided to immigrate to the United States to marry the love of his life. Impressed by the diversity he found in Philadelphia, Jara embraced his new home in the City of Brotherly Love.
